Data Indexers

Goldsky

Index Manta Pacific with Goldsky

Overview

Goldsky is a high-performance data indexing provider for Manta that makes it easy to extract, transform, and load on-chain data to power both application and analytics use cases. Goldsky offers two primary approaches to indexing and accessing blockchain data: Subgraphs (high-performance subgraphs) and Mirror (real-time data replication pipelines).

Scope

Goldsky has partnered with Manta to make our product available to the ecosystem and provide dedicated support for Manta data indexing. The full scope of our partnership (which products are enabled, what partner-exclusive benefit is available, and who this benefit is available to) is outlined below.

Getting started

To use Goldsky, you’ll need to create an account, install the CLI, and log in.

Subgraphs

Manta subgraphs can be deployed on Goldsky in 2 ways:

  • Via CLI from a local subgraph configuration file. If you are familiar with developing subgraphs already, you'll be familiar with this approach; after defining a subgraph locally (with a subgraph.yaml file, a schema.graphql file, and the necessary mappings to translate raw event data into the entities defined in the schema), you can deploy subgraphs to Goldsky (once the Goldsky CLI is installed) using goldsky subgraph deploy <name>/<version> --path . For more, read the step-by-step guide.
  • Via instant subgraphs, where you can pass through a contract address and the ABI for that contract. This is a quick-start option that automatically generates the underlying subgraph configuration files on your behalf, making it easy to extract blockchain event data and serve it as an API endpoint without complex setup. Use the --from-abi flag in the command above instead of --path. For more, read the no-code subgraphs guide.

Both Manta Pacific mainnet and testnet are available at the chain slugs manta-pacific-mainnet and manta-pacific-testnet respectively.

Mirror

Support for Goldsky Mirror for Manta is currently in progress. If you’d like to be notified when support is launched publicly, contact us at sales@goldsky.com.

Envio

Overview

Envio is a modern, multi-chain EVM blockchain indexing framework speed-optimized for querying real-time and historical data on Manta.

Scope

Envio HyperIndex

Envio HyperIndex is a feature-rich indexing solution that provides Manta projects with a seamless and efficient way to index and aggregate real-time or historical blockchain data. The indexed data is easily accessible through custom GraphQL queries, giving developers the flexibility and power to retrieve specific information for their blockchain application.

Envio offers native support for Manta Pacific testnet and mainnet and has been designed to support high-throughput blockchain applications that rely on real-time data for their business requirements.

Designed to optimize the developer experience, Envio offers automatic code generation, flexible language support, quickstart templates, and a reliable cost-effective hosted service. Indexers on Envio can be written in JavaScript, TypeScript, or ReScript.

Envio HyperSync

Envio HyperSync is supported on Manta Pacific mainnet.

HyperSync is a real-time data query layer for Manta Pacific, providing APIs that bypass traditional JSON-RPC for up to 1000x faster syncing of historical data. HyperSync is used by default in Envio's indexing framework (HyperIndex), with RPC being optional for data retrieval.

Using HyperSync, Manta projects do not need to worry about RPC URLs, rate-limiting, or managing their infrastructure - and can easily sync large datasets in a few minutes, something that would usually take hours or days using traditional indexing solutions.

HyperSync is also available as a standalone API for data analytic use cases. Data analysts can interact with the HyperSync API using JavaScript, Python, or Rust clients and extract data in JSON, Arrow, or Parquet formats. For more information, visit the HyperSync documentation here.

Getting Started

Developers can choose to start from a template (e.g. Blank, ERC-20, etc.), or use the Contract Import feature when running the envio init command. Make sure you have installed the Envio CLI following the installation guide.

The Contract Import feature is a quickstart that allows Manta developers to quickly autogenerate the key boilerplate for an entire indexer project off single or multiple smart contracts, and easily start up a basic indexer and a custom GraphQL API for their blockchain application within a few minutes.
